Tony wasn't Tony DeFina when we met. He had seen my work and my sites and came to me wanting to do photos, videos, anything we could ask of him he was eager to do. Turns out these shots were from his first professional shoot; I would never have known he was wet behind the ears when we first set up for these sessions if he hadn't expressed his nervousness. By the end of the first weekend we worked together (we shot tons of stills plus a solo video) he was like a seasoned veteran in front of the camera. But he didn't have a name to use in the industry and asked me to help him craft one. Tony DeFina really summed him up, in my opinion.
