I first came across our next featured artist differently than everyone else. For most of the artists that I have reached out to for a MuscleService exclusive, I’ve either admired their content for years or have recently discovered them on X (formerly Twitter). But Lobonejo X is someone I discovered because I noticed his stickers on Instagram! This quickly led me to his IG account and his X account (X is going to take some time to get used to), but I was in awe that an erotic artist successfully managed to create some stickers via Giphy and thought they were cute, fun and full of muscles which we know and love.

Chatting with Lobonejo X was quite interesting. While very young, the emerging bisexual erotic artist seems to have a plan set in motion. Not only does he has an active Patron and social media accounts where he can share his images, but he plans to jump into animation with a live YouTube channel to share his creative process. His art features alpha, hypersexual males and I hope to see what Lobonejo has to offer in the future.

The Beginning

Eddie V: First off, where does your name artist Lobonejo come from?

Lobonejo X: Well when I was a kid I dreamed about these two characters a wolf (lobo in Spanish) and a bunny (conejo in Spanish). I don't remember a lot of the story behind but I just remember the fusion of these two characters making Lobonejo

Eddie V: Tell us how you came to practice your craft? When did you first start? Was the goal to always create sexy art or something else? Where did the interest start to want to start creating homoerotic art?

Lobonejo X: When I was 10/11 years old I had 2 friends who drew so I wanted to learn how to draw cause I wanted to fit in with them. Then, I just kept drawing. I was a very depressed kid at the time so I just keep drawing to escape from my reality. The homoerotic part came very late, when I was like 14/15. I was a pretty horny bisexual teenager so I drew a little bit of everything and I felt guilty at the time cause sex is such a taboo topic and more at that age so I left the sexual art and I embraced my bisexuality. At the age of 18, all the hornyness came back to my drawings.

Eddie V: You’re the first person I am interviewing that has done animations. Do you plan to do full animated videos?

Lobonejo X: Animation is such a difficult medium and somehow, I ended up making it even harder. I am a self-taught artist so I don't have the basic knowledge about animation. I hope in the future I could learn the principles of animation and do proper work with the proper programs with music and voice acting to give life to my characters, but that would be in the future.

The Inspiration

Eddie V: A lot of your original pieces have a similar look to the type of men you draw. Is there anyone who has inspired your artwork?

Lobonejo X: I take a lot of inspiration from a lot of people and other artists. I tried sometimes to emulate the styles from those artists but ended up frustrated because I couldn't achieve that level so now, I just try to get inspiration from real people rather than other artists.

Eddie V: Most of your art features hyper-masculine, muscular versions of men. Who are some of your favorite bodybuilders and athletes?

Lobonejo X: Dwayne Walker and Sangram B Chougule I love painting darker/black skin because it is a better way to appreciate the lights and shadows, also Eric Janicki.

Eddie V: Similarly, please list your favorite pornstars (dead or alive), who have inspired you?

Lobonejo X: I might say Jaxton wheeler and Zeb atlas, a lot of my characters body types came from Zeb

Let's Fantasize…

Eddie V: What is your favorite fantasy that you have drawn to date? Favorite pic? (If you have it and we can feature it, that would be great)

Lobonejo X: a dad-son comic I drew. I was a little scared cause incest-related stuff is very controversial and taboo and I felt it was wrong. But actually, the fact that it was wrong made it even more exciting.

Eddie V: What is your sexual turnon? Feel free to elaborate 🙂

Lobonejo X: I think it depends on the mood but I love bisexual sex, like an alpha man fucking man and women at the same time.

Eddie V: When did you start finding out you had fans following your artwork? Any messages from fans that have stood out to you?

Lobonejo X: Well I'm glad I have fans. I always try to Lobonejo X every message I got from them, I love when they comment about my characters like they are real people. That is lovely cause that means I'm making an impact through my creations. The comments that stood out the most came actually from a non-erotic comic from single bisexual/gay dads who felt relative to my character Bulat and the struggle of raising kids alone and being a minority. That is something I never expected cause I thought people wanted me for the erotic art and if I came out of that box people wouldn't care about my work but when I draw something with real heart it really pays off.

Eddie V: We are all about supporting each other here in similar interests. Any other artists you love to follow?

Lobonejo X: silverjow, abloumterror, calmdraws they are my absolute favorite artists

Eddie V: How often do you produce new content?

Lobonejo X: Every month I upload between 6 and 7 new pages of my comic on Patreon. I try to upload content on my Instagram and twitter (now known as X) every month. Sometimes it is hard because I'm a student and I got some really busy weeks.

What's Cumming Up?

Eddie V: Is there a project you’ve been working on you cannot wait to complete? (Full comic, new characters, etc.?) What is new for 2023?

Lobonejo X: I´ve been working on my comic INFERNO on Patreon and I want to make and release more comics on digital and hopefully on physical copies one day. Work more on my youtube channel showing you my sketchbooks and music, maybe selling merch soon.

Eddie V: If there is anything else you would like to share / talk about, please share.

Lobonejo X: Thank you and thanks to everyone who supports me who recognizes me and who cares for what I do. It really means the most for me having someone who will hear what I say, who watches and reads what I draw and write, really means the most.
