Can I Even Say That??
At the fear of being prosecuted, because Twitter cancelled Rhyheim Shabazz over the weekend I cannot remain silent.
I came to the realization that it is time to call out injustices happening in the current era of porn. And while that is a vague comment in itself, today I am speaking against the evil administrators behind social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter. Now I know the irony in this as I am going to most likely promote this article on Twitter, but enough is enough.
Over the weekend, I heard and read all over the internet how distraught fans were since Twitter suspended yet another account that porn fans hold close to their hearts (and other body parts).
Twitter Cancelled Rhyheim Shabazz
The victim this time: Rhyheim Shabazz (@SRhyheim), the top daddy who has introduced many power bottoms to our screens. Twitter cancelled Rhyheim Shabazz. His account is no longer up and users are annoyed and outraged that accounts are once again being destroyed.
Friend of the site, Muscle Mafia Boss Carlo (@CarloRuva) recently had to go through the hell that is to recover a Twitter account deemed inappropriate. Tragically, Muscle Service’s own Ace Bannon (@acebannon) had an account that has yet to be recovered. While I do not want to bring anyone down with me, it looks completely unfair which accounts get taken down and which get to live another day.
Whether it's because your banner has “inappropriate” imagery — a penis or exposed butt — or your handle is obscene, we will never know how Twitter chooses which accounts to stay alive. I mean there are many out there that show a lot more than others. I can call out many still active accounts that have similar if not more hardcore content.
And let’s be honest: Porn is keeping Twitter alive. And Twitter cancelled Rhyheim Shabazz.
My Instagram Story…
Then there is Instagram. I have personally been a victim of Instagram. Way before I became a writer for Muscle Service, I had an Instagram account that expressed my love of muscle, bodybuilders, and hot daddies. That account was, like many of yours, my first method of keeping up to date with favorite pornstars of the past including Ceasar and Zeb Atlas.
Unexpectedly, after a birthday weekend, I woke up to the distressful news that my account — which I had worked on developing for a very long time (Username: MuscleCumLover) — had been taken down. Since then, I had to rebuild the account under the new title MusclecXXlover in the hopes that they overlook the cloaked “cum” in the name.
What Comes Next?
While we do not know what will happen in the future with social media, nor how the rules they are creating in secret and then constantly changing will affect us, I hope Twitter and Instagram don’t follow the same path as Tumblr. I was obsessed with Tumblr back in the day. Their original format of porn-loving gifs was a pornucopia, and now it is but a memory.
To anyone out there that works at Twitter and Instagram: LET US HAVE OUR PORN.
Or who knows? Maybe it's time to create a porn-heavy social media app that makes sense.
